Where is your printshop located?
We're based in Ojai, CA and our prints are produced in Los Angeles.
Is international shipping available?
We will do everything we can to find a way to get a print to you- sometimes that means shipping internationally and when possible we will try to find a lab to print locally as a eco friendly alternative. Please email us at hello@shopkiniko.com with your mailing address and what you are interested in purchasing and we’ll get right back to you!
What kind of paper are do you print on?
All images are archival c-prints on Fuji matte paper.
Why aren't the prints all offered sizes?
Sizes are selected based on cropping, resolution and image type (film vs. digital). Please contact us if you would like a custom size and well will let you know if it’s possible!
Do the images I see on my monitor accurately convey what the print will look like in person?
Please understand that computer monitors are lit from behind and color may vary from monitor to monitor, so exactly what you see cannot be replicated in print form. You can be assured that the print you receive is exactly the color, brightness and saturation that we have intended, and though it will look different from your computer screen it will have a quality and beauty that is equally as lovely.
Do your prints come framed / do you offer framing?
Prints are not framed and at this time time we are not able to offer framing. We offer prints in sizes that readily accommodate standard frames that you can find at places like Aaron Brothers, Ikea, or Michael's. Additionally, Framebridge will offer first time customers a 15% discount with code AHOUSEINTHEHILLS15 and we are huge fans of their frames that are shipped ready to hang!
What are your production and shipping times?
Please allow up to 10 days for your order to be shipped as they are produced to order. US orders are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS and arrive within 3-5 business days. For international order please anticipate anywhere between 2-3 weeks for delivery. These orders are shipped via USPS first class with no tracking. If you would like tracking on your package, please contact us and we can discuss additional fees for express mail. All shipping times are just our best estimate, please understand that ultimately shipping delays can occur that our outside of our control. We assume no liabilities for delays caused by our shipping carriers.
Do you accept returns?
We are not able to accept returns or exchanges at this time. Please contact us if you receive a print that has been damaged by the shipping carrier within 5 days of receipt and we will discuss the best way to rectify the situation!
Will I be charged sales tax?
If you’re a CA resident, 8% tax will be added to your order.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Paypal is the only form of payment we currently offer, but you can add a credit card to your Paypal account to use whichever card you'd prefer!
How are the prints packaged?
All prints smaller than 10x15 are shipped in a sturdy flat cardboard mailer. Larger prints are rolled and shipped in a tube.
What if my print arrives damaged?
We package our prints to give them the best possible chance of arriving to you in perfect condition, however on occasion things outside of our control can happen. In these cases please contact us within 5 days of receipt and we will make it right!
